Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism is viewed as a serious offence by the University. The faculty members and researchers are apprised of the consequences of plagiarism through workshops on regular basis. University has access to Urkund software for checking similarity of a document. It is the resposibility of the concerned person to check the similarity report for plagiarism, if any and remove it.

UGC has also made a course compulsory on 'Research and Publication Ethics' to increase its awareness among researchers.

The Urkund software used for similarity check is approved officially from UGC and has been made accessible to the University through Inflibnet. A sample of the similarity check performed can be seen here.
