It is my proud privilege to welcome and congratulate you for affiliation to the J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. As the university ventures to affiliate institutions into its fold, I assure you that it will fulfil the responsibility towards its affiliates.
As you become a part of this university, you will also become a proud inheritor of its legacy. Established in the year 1969, it started as an Indo-German project with an objective to impart technical education to the developing India. It grew as a joint venture of the National Council of YMCAs of India, Government of Haryana, and the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany. It was pronounced as Engineering College in 1997 and later upgraded to State Government University in December 2009.
The University was acknowledged as the most promising upcoming University in 2014 by ASSOCHAM. It has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the highest body of evaluation for the Universities and Colleges in the country, with ‘A’ Grade in the First Cycle of Accreditation in October 2016. Most of the technical programs of the University are accredited by the NBA. The University has also made its presence in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the category of Engineering and Management, and ranked amongst top Engineering and Management Institutions in the Country. In the present day, J.C. Bose University enjoys the privilege of being the most sought after Institution by the students in the State counselling. The University has been selected for TEQIP Phase-III project and RUSA Scheme of MHRD, GoI.
The academic credentials of teaching faculty and their academic expertise are well-acknowledged. Apart from serious academic exercises, a spectrum of co-curricular activities conducted by numerous clubs creates a vivid atmosphere accentuated by innovation and creativity of our students. The grand and sprawling engineering workshops that the university nestles in its centre are its unique inheritance from the days of its inception as a German initiative. The University boasts of its Industry interaction in terms of placement of students and MoU’s. Well placed alumni are the real brand ambassadors of the University
