Sanchar- Ready Forever

Sanchar, the media club established by the university in 2017, stands as a beacon for students of Journalism and Mass Communication, providing an invaluable platform for skill development and creative expression. In its mission to nurture budding media professionals, Sanchar offers a comprehensive array of activities spanning various facets of media production. First and foremost, the club serves as a training ground for audio recording and editing. Members delve into the nuances of sound quality, mastering editing techniques, and gaining proficiency with industry-standard software like Pro Tools or Adobe Audition. Furthermore, Sanchar cultivates a strong foundation in reporting, offering students opportunities to cover diverse events, from local university activities to global spectacles like the Surajkund International crafts fair. Through these experiences, students learn the importance of journalistic integrity, sharpening their interviewing skills and crafting compelling news narratives. The club also delves into the realms of directing and scriptwriting, guiding students through the process of conceptualization, script development, and visual storytelling. This fosters an understanding of narrative structure and the art of visual communication. Moreover, Sanchar equips students with essential video editing skills, enabling them to create polished content using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Members also explore graphic design principles, honing their abilities in tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to craft visually striking posters and banners. Hands-on experience with camera operation and news bulletin shooting/editing further enriches students' skill sets. They gain proficiency in technical aspects such as camera settings and composition, alongside the editorial process of selecting and editing footage for news segments. Sanchar's commitment to fostering creativity is evident in its encouragement of creative media messages. Students are empowered to experiment and innovate, whether through storytelling in news reporting, visual design in posters, or cinematic techniques in video production. Notably, the club's coverage of international sports events provides practical experience in real-world settings, enhancing students' understanding of sports journalism and multimedia storytelling.
