Events organized by students

Ø  MOZILLA MAKERS PARTY:  Mozilla's Maker Party is a place for artists to connect with educators; for activists to trade ideas with coders; and for entrepreneurs to chat with makers. It's a place to network, innovate and make a difference. Manan in collaboration with Delhi Mozilla Community, Mozpacers, organised Mozilla Makers Party in YMCA.

Ø  MOZCOFFEE:  Manan members are very active and interactive in Mozcoffees happening in vicinity. MozCoffee is a small informal meet up of Mozillians to discuss about previous and future events, plans , goals or projects as well as getting innovative ideas from fellow  Mozillians. MozCoffee at regional level might be small scaled and informal but it plays a very important role in  running the community at that level.

Ø  MOZILLA OFFICIAL MEETS:  Since there are several members of Manan, who are officially members of Mozilla Community, so they are invited to attend the Community’s official meets which are sometimes online on hangouts and other times offline, in some conference hall.

A session was organized for the beginners in programming, for those who needed a push to kickstart with coding. Speakers included graduates from IIT Delhi and Stanford, ExEmployee of Amazon, recriter at Amazon. The session was open for every student of the college. An overwhelming participation was witnessed, crowd was so much, that it was difficult to accommodate it. But finally every one was provided seats and refreshments.

Ø  Workshop on Importance of Problem Solving in cracking Tech Interviews-

Since most of us face problems in applying logics to problem solving questions, Manan organized a workshop on role problem solving by Chandan Singh, alumni of YMCA, ex-member of Manan, EX-employee of Hackerearth, currently working in Amazon and founder of Codeshala. The session turned out to be very interactive.
