Graduates have brought laurels to the department and the University at the Conference organized by Manav Rachna Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad in collaboration with Shiksha Sanskriti Uththan Nyas, New Delhi. A student team ‘SMART TEE’ of Electronics Engineering Department of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has won a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 lakh in the Youth Jalsa Project Competition in the International Conference on ‘Environmental Challenges and Solutions’. The two-member team of student Bharat Pant and Harsh Sharma, working on a green way of ambulance mentored by Ms. Rashmi Chawla, received the prize from Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal. It was an idea pitching competition on Environmental Challenges and Solutions. Apart from this, ten-member student team of Electronics Engineering Department has also won 3rd prize in the competition and received a cash prize of Rs. 21000 from the Chief Minister.

             Fabotics team under the mentorship of Ms. Rashmi Chawla won 24th-28th Feb 2020 Tech week, won1st prize in innovation fair, conducted in ST Microelectronics

             Ms. Rashmi Chawla received AWSAR Awards on 28 February 2019 at National Science Day event for her Ph.D. research work. Her work was on Smart Energy System: for cooling Solar Panels. The research team constitutes Rashmi Chawla (JCBUST, Faridabad), Prof. Amit Garg (DCRUST, Murthal), Prof. Poonam Singhal (DCRUST, Murthal) and Amresh Mahajan (R n D Head ACME Solar, Gurgaon). We have published a research paper titled “Internet of Things Driven Framework for Smart Solar Energy System” in ASME Journal of Energy Resource Technology, vol.142, Issue 1, pp. 011201-1- 011201-9. The technique is implemented at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, Haryana and data analysis for further improvement is in continuation, so that this mechanism can be further transferred to the field by ACME Solar Power industry.
