Samarpan- technophilia, the technical Club of J.C. BOSE UST, YMCA, organised a successful INDUSTRIAL VISIT for the students of Electronics Engineering Dept. to ZTE TELECOM INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Manesar, Gurgaon on 8 February, 2019. 25 students visited the ZTE premises. The  ZTE MICROELECTRONICS is ranked in the top 5 telecommunication industries of the World and it is one of the most leading company in China. But in India, It has a small scale mobile manufacturing and has mainly extended its telecommunication.

ZTE is one of the leading semiconductor foundries in the world and the largest and most advanced foundry in mainland China. ZTE has a small branch in India located in Gurugram. ZTE Microelectronics, Gurugram mainly manufacturers the connecting model or the electronic model that connects the mobile phones with different Network Operators. This model is attached to the towers of the different Network Operators, who have purchased it from ZTE. A receiver chip is present in mobile phones of the users. So, According to the different generation of Network, mobile users get the accessibility of their preferred Network. This model's essence also involves mobile users using a particular operator, to get connected to another user using different Network. ZTE has emerged as a successful telecommunication industry to date, and growing more for the higher generation of Network, fulfilling its customers' needs.

The visit was well assisted by Mr. Virender, who guided the students briefly about ZTE, showed the industrial work for establishing this big telecommunication, the plants for every generation of Network, the software working in each stage. He had also informed the students about the world’s first 5G call with ZTE’s 5G prototype smartphone which had been launched in China only for trial purpose. The visit was more overwhelmed since students interacted with the alumnus MUKESH VERMA, 1994 passed out, who is now a member of prestigious ZTE TELECOM INDIA PVT LTD. The Dept. articulates its gratitude to the esteemed organisation, for this remarkable experience of INDUSTRIAL ATMOSPHERE, and assures good progress in technical innovation.
