Department of Mathematics, J. C. Bose university of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad organized an online two-week value added course on “An interactive Approach to Learn Mathematical Applications of C & C++” . The course was held during 21 May - 03 June 2021. More than 250 participants have registered for the value added course. The course is specially intended for UG/PG/BTECH/MTECH students, research scholars and faculty members of Mathematics. The content of the course is designed in such a way that even beginners are benefited by attending this course. The session is started with the welcome address by Ms. Mahima Malik. Then, Prof. Neetu Gupta, Chairperson of Department of Mathematics and Convener of the workshop has presented an overall summary of past two weeks of the workshop. She added that the course has given a platform to students, researchers and faculty members to get the knowledge of the basics of C and C++. She has invited participants of different levels, Assistant Professors, Research Scholars as well as MSc students for sharing their experience in the workshop. The valedictory ceremony was presided by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad and also congratulated the Department of Mathematics for organising the workshop. He has told how important the C&C++ languages in Mathematics and also emphasized that C&C++ help us to present our work in a better way. The chief guest of the event, Prof. Rajendra Nath, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Applications, Kurukshetra and he address congratulated the Department of Mathematics, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA for organizing the value added course. He highlighted the applications of the programming languages C & C++. His breadth of knowledge and deep expertise enlightened the participants. The function is successfully ended with a vote of thanks by Prof.Neetu Gupta. She congratulated the organising team of Department of Mathematics for being part of a successful course, congratulated Dr. Ramu Dubey, coordinator of the two week value added course, the faculty members and participants who took great effort in attending all the sessions and making the course a grand success.
