Research Vision
Department of Mathematics aims to create an environment that will support excellence in research. At present, Department of Mathematics is full of enthusiastic people working in different salient areas of Mathematics like Operations Research, Reliability Theory, Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Processing, Continuum Mechanics, Fixed Point Theory, Approximation Theory, Robust Optimization etc. The main objectives of the Department are to publish quality research papers, to properly guide the research scholars for obtaining their degrees and to continuously upgrade and maintain state-of-the-art research facilities by using the expertise of the faculty members.
