The National Cadets Corps is Military educational training programme Under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The NCC came into existence on 16th July, 1948 under the NCC Act XXXVI of 1948.

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana had also taken an initiative to promote National Cadets Corps (NCC) in the University with the support of 01 Haryana Naval unit, Faridabad.

NCC of J.C. Bose University provides opportunities to its students to learn and turn into good military acknowledged cadets. Subsequently, providing a strong platform for serving the nation as Military officer.

The Navy wing NCC at J C Bose started in Jul 2018 under the 01 Haryana Naval NCC Unit, Faridabad. The maximum intake authorised by unit is 50 cadets. The opportunity is equally available for Boys and Girls students admitted in 1st year in Under-graduate regular courses only. The selection of Cadets are strictly supervised by the Unit. The cadets are taught and trained in order to clear BEE and CEE certificate exams.  A Cadet having “C” certificate gets advantages at SSB conducted to recruit officers in military as well as at several police services. 

Cadets in Navy NCC are taught and trained about Indian Navy. The technical, administration and social approaches are touched during the 3 years course. Every year cadets are required to undergo Annual Training Camp and several activities organised by unit. Cadets are also required to participate in several University activities as ordered by NCC coordinator and ANO.
