The Department of Electronics Engineering will conduct an AICTE Sponsored Online STTP on "Recents Challenges and Development in Solar Energy Technologies and its Applications"  from 24th Jan 22  to 29 Jan 22.

The objective of the STTP

The primary objective of this one-week online Faculty Development Program (FDP) is to enrich faculty members of Engineering streams across various real-world applications and design different applications. Designing the solutions for several applications using IoTs by integrating machine learning/deep learning into renewable energy uses is targeted. The objective is to address modern trends in the field of energy generation with real-time problem-solving. This FDP focuses on the hands-on implementation of various algorithms to deliver practical skills to participants. The participants are going to gain extensive details of subject knowledge along with practical knowledge. Various case studies and practical examples enrich their concept and will help them to do better teaching and to conduct research activities at their institutes. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in November 1945 as a national-level Apex Advisory Body to conduct a survey on the facilities available for technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated & integrated manner. It is AICTE sponsored FDP will be held in online mode only

The various objectives of the STTP:

❖ To develop a basic understanding of Energy scenarios.

❖ To know Energy & Environmental problems faced by the world & their probable solutions for sustainable development.

❖ To identify renewable energy sources and their utilization.

❖ To understand the basic concepts of solar energy and analyze the working of solar PV and thermal systems.

❖ To understand the concepts of PV cell fabrications.

❖ To identify the solutions for the challenges in power generation from PV systems and monitoring technologies.

❖ To understand photovoltaic thermal tile and collector for a sustainable system.

❖ To demonstrate the integration of the internet of things (IoT) with PV plants.

❖ To apply the role of Artificial intelligence (AI) with PV.

❖ To apply PV systems in robotics and drones.
