Membership
The following are entitled to enroll as library members:
- Faculty
members of various departments.
- Non-teaching
staff of the university.
- Project
staff working under various sponsored projects.
- All
students and research scholars enrolled in university departments.
Those wishing to become members must fill out a library
membership card duly recommended by the chairperson/head of the department.

There is no membership fee. Student members must deposit Rs.
5000/- as a one-time library security at the time of admission which is
refundable upon leaving the University with a No-Dues certificate. Faculty and
staff members do not need to pay a security deposit. No separate library card
is issued; books are issued based on the university identity card.
SPECIAL
MEMBERSHIP
Teachers/officers/scientists/scholars working on important
projects and alumni/old students may be enrolled as special members. Special
members requesting book issuance must deposit Rs. 3000/- as a refundable
security amount with the A/C Branch. Only two books can be issued at a time.
The librarian will allow special membership as feasible. Ph.D. scholars from
other universities may be allowed for consultation with the librarian's
permission but cannot borrow books.
