About Library
The Central Library of the University, named after the great
Indian thinker and leader Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, strives to support and
strengthen the teaching, learning, and research ecosystem sustainably through
its quality and innovative services. The library is well-equipped with modern
technology like an e-library portal, remote access facility, federated search,
artificial intelligence-based searching, a mobile app, etc. It is fully
automated with the web-based library management system "KOHA." A Web
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility is available to check book
availability. The library is also equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency
Identification) technology, with RFID-enabled gates for document security
checks. Books can be returned at any time through the Book Drop facility. The
library has a good collection of books, magazines, daily newspapers, print
journals, electronic journals, and electronic books from reputed publishers. It
is also a member of DELNET and e-ShodhSindhu consortia.
