I, Dr. Reena Garg, Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) working in the Department of Mathematics at J. C. Bose UST, YMCA Faridabad since Jan. 2008. Before that I was working in Aravali College of Aeronautical Engineering & CITM (currently known as Manav Rachna International University) Faridabad for approximately Four Years. I completed my M.Sc. in Mathematics with Gold Medal from Main Campus M.D University Rohtak in 2003. I completed my M.Phil. in 2007 with first division and Ph.D. in 2013 with topic “Risk Assessment for some systems of Practical Importance.” I have authored 05 books till now and two books are under publishing. Recently I got selected as an author of mathematics by AICTE for undergraduate 1st year B.Tech. degree students under the project of National Education Policy. Books published under this policy will be used in all over India as Government prescribed books for all engineering courses. My research area is “Reliability Theory”. I have published 38 research papers (till today) in various journals of national and international repute. I have published 2 Patents with Indian Government and granted 1 Patent from Australian Government. Three research scholars are working with me in my area of research. Currently, I am working on model having two unit identical systems by using the concept of refreshment with the help of Regenerative Point Technique and Regenerative Point Graphical Technique. I am also working on Briquetting which is the process of compaction of biomass residues into solid fuels in order to increase the effectiveness of thermal capacity, combustion rate, calorific value to name a few. The aim of this work is to give the framework for analyzing, modeling and prediction of the biomass briquette machine reliability using regenerative point graphical technique. I have also calculated the reliability of many models with the help of CAS Mathematica and Maxima. |

Dr. Arpita Chatterjee is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, JCBUST. She did her Ph.D. from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in 2010. Later, she joined Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for doing her Post-Doctoral research. Dr. Arpita has six years of post-Ph.D. and five years of teaching experience. Her research interests are Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Processing. She is currently engaged in investigating the continuous-variable teleportation protocol in ideal and realistic scenario. The characteristic function description is used for studying the competence of an entangled resource. How the fidelity decoheres for transmitting via a noisy channel and imperfect homodyne detectors are also analysed. The results obtained will be of further use for controlling different features of the experimental appliances, including the shortfall of the photo detectors and the decay rate of the noisy channel. Dr. Arpita has received NBHM post-doctoral fellowship from Department of Atomic Energy in 2009 and Dr. D. S. Kothari post-doctoral fellowship from UGC in 2014. She has successfully completed one research project awarded by DST SERB under Fast Track Young Scientist scheme in 2014-17. She has published many research articles in different SCIE-indexed international journals. Currently, she has two full-time research scholars with CSIR fellowship. |

Dr. Ramu Dubey is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, JCBUST since, 2018. He has worked in various reputed Universities and Institutes (Central University of Haryana, North Cap University, Gurugram, NIET Engineering College, Gr. Noida, etc). He has completed a Ph.D. in Operations Research with specialization in duality relations from Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has obtained a Master of Science degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. He has more than 9 years of teaching experience in the field of Mathematics. His research interests are Nonlinear Programming and Robust Optimizations Programming Problems. He has worked on both symmetric and non-symmetric primal-dual models. He has considered non-differentiable single-objective and multi-objective (simple and fractional) models and proved interesting results on the duality between these models. The models, he considered, can be grouped in the categories of Wolfe, Mond-Weir, and Schaible type models. Wherever necessary his study has elucidated or expounded the supplied examples to justify the things. He has published more than 50 research publications in international journals of repute and also published 04 Patents. At present, he is having two full-time and two part-time research scholars. |
