Outreach and Media Relations Division
Introduction
The Outreach and Media Relations Division at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA has been established with the vision of strengthening the University's outreach ecosystem and enhancing its engagement with society, academia, industry, media, and other stakeholders. The Division serves as a dedicated platform for promoting the achievements, innovations, academic excellence, research contributions, and societal initiatives of the University through strategic communication and media engagement.
Constitution
The Outreach and Media Relations Division at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, functions under the Dean (Outreach and Media Relations), as notified by the University vide Office Order/Notification Estb./R-2/2026/3656 dated 05.05.2026.

The Division shall coordinate with various teaching departments, centres, cells, and administrative branches of the University for planning and execution of outreach and media-related activities to strengthen the outreach ecosystem and institutional visibility of the University.
Objectives of Outreach and Media Relations Division
- To strengthen the University's visibility and public engagement through strategic outreach and effective media relations.
- To create a positive peer perception of the University among academic institutions, industry, stakeholders, and society.
- To disseminate achievements, innovations, research activities, academic excellence, and student accomplishments through various media platforms.
- To establish strong communication channels with print, electronic, digital, and social media.
- To promote the University's brand identity and reputation at regional, national, and international levels.
- To encourage community engagement, institutional collaborations, and outreach-driven initiatives.
- To enhance awareness about academic programmes, research opportunities, events, and societal contributions.
- To develop a strong internal support ecosystem encouraging participation in outreach and media engagement activities.
- To facilitate coordination among University units for effective planning and promotion of outreach initiatives.
- To support transparent, timely, and impactful communication between the University and its stakeholders.
