Faculty of Sciences
Faculty of Sciences hosts Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences departments to focus on quality education in all science disciplines and comprising of innovative research in the allied fields. The Faculty of Sciences bridges pure science with the applied science inclusive of environment challenges and promotes interdisciplinary research with target fields of energy, biofuels, green chemistry, process-recycling, waste-management, air-water pollution, nanotechnology, materials sciences & structural biology. Fundamental and advanced courses through BSc (Hons.), MSc and PhD programs in sciences offered in view of employability and entrepreneurship opportunities in the academia & the industry for the benefit of all the stakeholder of the society. To cross traditional vertical boundaries of scientific disciplines in this short journey, Faculty of Sciences committed to emerge with more strength to innovate & integrate for 'Self-Reliant India'. In August 2021, all science departments have moved to newly constructed ‘C. V. Raman Block’. The state-of-the-art Lecture Halls along with state-of-the-art research laboratories provide more space towards cutting edge research across the disciplines. The Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL) is functional and consist of equipment’s such as AFM, X-Ray Diffractometer, and UV-Visible spectrometer in addition to existing infrastructure/instrumentation.
