Komal Kumar Bhatia is working as Professor in Department of Computer Engineering at J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana has a work experience of more than 25 years. He received his B.E., M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering in 2001, 2004 and 2009 respectively. He has guided twelve Ph.Ds and guiding five Ph.D. scholars. He has also guided more than hundred M.Tech. dissertations. He has published more than one hundred fifty research papers in reputed journals and conferences and his areas of interests are Information Retrieval Systems, Hidden Web, Web Mining, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has also worked as Founder Dean, Faculty of Informatics & Computing and Chairman of Department of Computer Engineering for more than five years. He has also served as Controller of Finance, Controller of Examinations and Professor Incharge (Academic Affairs) and currently, he is having the additional charge of University NBA Coordinator, Nodal Officer RUSA, Nodal Officer PM-USHA. He has worked on almost all the key positions in the University. He is also member of several Professional bodies at National/International level.
