Dr. Amit Rajput did his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry under the guidance of Prof. R. N. Mukherjee (Guide) and Prof. M. K. Ghorai (Co-Guide) from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), U.P., India in April 2015 then he did Postdoc with Dr. Anthony Cozzolino at Texas Tech University, Texas, USA from July 2015 to June 2017. His Teaching interests include Inorganic Chemistry, Bio-inorganic Chemistry and Organometallics. His research focuses on Coordination Chemistry and Bio-inorganic Chemistry. Right now, he has three research grants [SERB-POWER (Co-PI, approx. 23 lakhs), SERB-SURE (PI, approx. 26 lakhs) and University Seed Grant (PI, 2 lakh rupees). One Ph.D. (as a Co-guide) and 20 M.Sc. thesis are completed under his guidance.
