Dr. Jyotsana Chawla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA. She holds a Ph.D. in Management with research focused on “FDI in Retail Sector: A Critical Study of Indian Retail Market” and is also UGC-NET qualified. Her areas of specialization include Finance and General Management. With extensive teaching and research experience, Dr. Chawla has taught subjects such as Strategic Management, Financial Institutions and Markets, Indian Financial System and Business Communication. She has published research papers and book chapters in reputed journals and edited books on topics related to retail, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Dr. Chawla has actively participated in national and international conferences, guided MBA, BBA, and research scholars, and organized various FDPs, webinars, and academic events. She has also delivered expert lectures on work ethics and holistic development. Apart from academics and research, Jyotsana Chawla contributes to student welfare and institutional development activities, encouraging holistic learning, creativity, and professional growth among students. Her dedication towards teaching, research, and academic coordination highlights her passion for education and continuous learning. She is actively involved in social initiatives and has been recognized by the District Administration of Faridabad for her outstanding contribution during Lok Sabha Election 2024.
